A Cryptic Response from Ray's

Any fans of Ray's the Steaks who have been hyperventilating over the restaurant's unanswered phone or message saying it's closing March 26, owner Michael Landrum tells Tom Sietsema in today's TomChat (love that term, DCist): "I'm closing because I have to find a way to bring the restaurant back to the neighborhood, where it belongs. ... Even if it involves reformatting my operations."

Hmm, not sure that clears things up, but it's a response nonetheless.
