Chef Cathal Armstrong's Battered Cod


Just in time for Saint Patrick's Day, chef Cathal Armstrong of Restaurant Eve, Eamonn's A Dublin Chipper and (soon) The Majestic, appeared on "The Martha Stewart Show" this morning to cook fish and chips. (And he made it look so easy!)

Click here for the Dublin native's recipe for battered cod. Fans of the sauces at Eamonn's will be pleased to see recipes for the Marie Rose, Kitty O'Shea and tartar sauces, as well.

This would explain why my wife had so much trouble today making a reservation for my birthday dinner at Eve. Martha's Minions are storming the gates!

CityZen was actually my first choice, but they were totally booked up for my birthday weekend (a month away). Well, there was a 5:15PM spot, but it just seems difficult to "celebrate" a birthday when you're seated with the blue-haired set.
