To Do: Fall On The Farm

Despite freaky weather that's switching between tropical humidity and chilly Scottish rains, it is October, and this weekend you can get your autumn on down on the farm at Clyde's of Willow Creek Farm's fall festival.

The Broadlands, Va., restaurant (pictured above) is throwing a party both Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. They'll be dishing out grilled pork loin sandwiches, barbecue beef brisket, bratwurst, hot dogs, apple turnovers, pumpkin cheesecake, homemade pretzels, and candied and caramel apples. And beer.

Also on the roster is live bluegrass by Orrin Star, free pony rides, a petting zoo, apple butter demonstration and a pick-your-own pumpkin patch. For additional information, call Clyde's of Willow Creek Farm at 571.209.1200.
