Emeril Green Is Looking For Local Home Cooks

Chef Emeril Lagasse's new show, "Emeril Green", has been filming at the Whole Foods Market in Fairfax, and the show is looking for new guests from the DC area. From the casting call:
Planet Green is looking for residents in the Washington, D.C. metro area who love to cook but have a tough time making heads or tails of what's in the fridge, or are wondering how to be eco-friendly while still deep-frying a turkey.

This is a chance for amateur chefs to receive cooking tips and recipes tailored specifically to their needs by America's most beloved chef—Emeril Lagasse! Discovery's new network is currently casting enthusiastic and fun people with creative and interesting cooking challenges for the all new series Emeril Green, which began airing in July.

Metro D.C. residents interested in participating should email their information (name, address, age, and occupation), their culinary challenge, and a recent picture to emerilgreencasting@gmail.com. Participants must provide their own transportation and be available for two to three days of filming in the D.C. metro area.

Anyone, I wonder why they they would want to do this. I worked at Whole Foods and daily saw the ego of this work crew and Emeril. Why would anyone want to subject themshelves to this. Or even why Whole foods tolerates the confusion. Even some customers are not happy with the events of this fiasco.

This is so true I also, worked at Fair Lakes Whole Foods and agree the aggorance of Emeril and the casting crew was just horrible. Even customers complained about not be able to get to where they needed to go in the store while Emeril was there. I don't know why the store put up with this cherade. They did not advertise the store location just that it was a Whole Foods big deal. The managment could and should have handled this situation much better.
