Chef Five Bites: Shannon Overmiller

Maryland native Shannon Overmiller, chef at The Majestic, recently received a nomination for Rising Star Chef of the Year from the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington. Before assuming top toque duties at The Majestic, she worked her way up through area kitchens including Cafe Atlantico, Tosca and Restaurant Eve. Her rustic American menu includes dishes like Chesapeake Bay-style seafood stew, herb roasted game hen, and meatloaf with whipped potatoes.
