Andy Shallal's new Southern restaurant
Eatonville opens tonight at 14th and V streets, just across from sibling
Busboys and Poets. A preview of the menu, inspired by the staff’s trips to namesake Eatonville, Fla. and New Orleans, includes oyster po' boys with spicy remoulade, fried fish of the day with jalapeno cheddar grits, and sides like braised collard greens, sweet potato and turkey andouille sausage hash, and lima bean succotash. The restaurant, named for Zora Neale Hurston's hometown, also has a 65-seat patio.
