Chef Five Bites: Abdellah Aguenaou

CIA-trained, Moroccan-born Abdellah Aguenaou is executive chef at the Mayflower Renaissance Hotel. These are his Five Bites.

4. Chicken bastilla at Casablanca in Alexandria. “It’s a traditional version of the Moroccan phyllo dough pie stuffed with chicken, eggs, almonds, walnuts and onions, and sprinkled with cinnamon and powdered sugar.”
