Recipe: Tomato Feta Watermelon Bites

Tomato, feta and watermelon make a super easy hors d'oeuvre.

Inspired by the ever-popular tomato, watermelon and feta salad, I thought the same flavors would work well on a toothpick for an easy party hors d'oeuvre. Like little bites of summer, they're an amazing combo of juicy sweet watermelon, creamy salty feta and sun-kissed tomatoes. This is really more of assembly instructions than a recipe — all the easier to throw together for laid-back summer entertaining.

Tomato Feta Watermelon Bites

Cherry or grape tomatoes, halved
Watermelon, cut into 1-inch cubes
Firm feta cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
Mint or basil leaves

Skewer each ingredient on a toothpick, garnish with herbs, and watch them disappear.
