Five Bites: Brendan Flynn

Flynn and his brother-in-law, Chris Palmisano, are the creative
forces behind Softcore Laundry, a unique graphic t-shirt company based
in the U Street corridor. Their original screen printed designs reflect
their interests in music, art, politics and pretty much any ideas that
are born after 3 a.m. They also love to eat. A lot.
1. Goat tacos and a Jarritos Tamarindo soda from El Charrito
Caminante
2. Tequila Old Fashioned from The Gibson
3. Moules
Catalanes (steamed mussels in white wine with onions, peas, peppers,
tomatoes and chorizo) from Bistrot Du Coin
4. Homemade pop tart and
adult milkshake (my favorite is the Nutty Professor) from Ted's Bulletin
5.
Cranberry pecan sourdough bread, toasted on a Sunday morning with butter and
Nutella and French pressed coffee, from Atwater's at the Petworth
Market
