Richard Brandenburg was named head chef of Café
Atlántico this spring after joining chef José Andrés'
ThinkFoodGroup in August 2008. The Virginia native and CIA graduate
previously worked with Eric Ripert at Le
Bernardin and Laurent Gras at The
Fifth Floor in San Francisco, and helped launch the Bazaar by José Andrés at the SLS
Hotel in Beverly Hills. When he's not in the kitchen, Brandenburg rides
his motorcycle and spends time with his kids, Tyler and Zoe.
