The deal: Grab an entree and a glass of wine for lunch in the bar and lounge for $15. During dinner, two courses with two wine pairings will only set you back $35.

The deets: New head chef Ed Witt (at right) is offering several good deals in 701's 50-seat bar and lounge. At lunch, Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., you can order a featured dish — such as orecchiette with acorn squash and sage brown butter or a pulled pork sandwich with fennel slaw and sweet potato wedges — and a glass of wine for $15.


Nightly from 5:30 p.m. to closing, pick any two courses from the lounge tasting menu along with two wine pairings from the featured list for $35 per person. Witt's dinner menu includes dishes such as crispy duck confit with cannellini beans, rose gold potatoes and plum compote, and house-smoked rainbow trout with caramelized fennel puree.
