The Eating Agenda

Hot on the heels of Mardi Gras, it's time for another round of adopt whatever holiday suits your drinking needs! Yes, St. Patrick's Day is Thursday, and it's time to find a good pint of Guinness and some corned beef.

K Street newcomer P.J. Clarke's is famous in New York for its St. Patrick's Day party. The DC party promises drink specials, Irish fare, Redskins cheerleaders, an Irish band, and a 2011 Ural T Sidecar Motorcycle giveaway. See full details on the Metrocurean calendar.

One of my favorite spots for a pint, Againn will also be hosting a crowd on St. Patty's Day. See details on specials and food here.

Meanwhile, the new Socci restaurant in the Renaissance hotel in Arlington will mash-up the traditional Irish holiday with Italy's unification anniversary. DJ Adrian Loving will be on hand spinning tunes. See more details.

Also on the eating agenda:

March 18: Around the World in 80 Sips

March 19: Citronelle Wine Class with Kathy Morgan

March 20: No. 68 Project Dinner with Todd Gray
