• Ashok Bajaj has been hinting for some time that his next restaurant project would take him to the West End neighborhood. Tom Sietsema reports that the restaurateur's newly secured space at 1177 22nd St. NW will become Rasika West End, opening some time next year.
• New York's Hill Country is slated to start serving its take on barbecue (at right) from brisket to ribs to wings and sides like campfire baked beans on March 12, tweets Sietsema.
