Combining a menu of exclusive craft beers with world-inspired small plates, 901 Restaurant & Bar has opened in Penn Quarter.
David von Storch, owner of Capitol City Brewing Company, Vida Fitness and Bang Salon, is behind the sleek new 7,500-square-foot restaurant and lounge.
Beer aficionados will appreciate the selection of signature crafted keg brews, created for the restaurant by award-winning brewer Mike McCarthy, director of brewing operations for 901's older sibling Capitol City Brewing.
On the menu is a globally influenced variety of small plates from ahi tuna tartar to Wagyu meatballs, bison sliders, duck quesadillas and Thai lettuce wraps. Overseeing the kitchen is chef Thomas Hall, previously of TenPenh.
901 will open Sunday - Thursday for lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. - midnight. The bar is open on weekends until 2 a.m.
