Great Urban Gardens: The Chathams

The garden: Mac and Chris Chatham's Truxton Circle backyard

What's growing: Chris's "square foot garden," divided into square foot plots of veggies and herbs, includes broccoli, carrots, beets, spinach, swiss chard, arugula, mint, basil, cilantro and rosemary.

Our potted pepper plants include red, yellow and orange peppers, tomatillo, Portugal and Santiago peppers.

The herb bucket is growing of oregano, lemon thyme, garlic chives, marjoram and catnip for Pumpkin (at left).

Thanks for the shout out Amanda.

BTW, we'll throw in all the free vegetables and herbs you can carry to anyone who wants to take the fat cat Pumpkin off our hands!
