5 Bites: Laetitia B

1. A basket of warm gougères at Café du Parc, paired with a glass of Alsacian Riesling in honor of Chef Antoine Westermann
2. The oven-roasted bone marrow paired with a glass of sparkling brut rosé at Blue Duck Tavern
3. The cassoulet from Urbana, paired with a glass of Cote du Rhone. It's technically an appetizer but I find it filling enough to be its own meal, leaving me just hungry enough for the apple tart tatin. The cider glazed vanilla gelato and cider foam that top the tatin are a delicious update on this traditional French dessert.
4. The Pipe Dream goat cheese mussels with preserved lemon and fennel at Brasserie Beck, paired with a crisp Sancerre and served with a side of Belgian frites and curry mayonnaise.
5. A slice of tarte aux fruits rouges from Paul, simply paired with an espresso or a bottle of Orangina!
