5 Bites: Jacqueline Anderson

1. The Hangtown Fry paired with the Ramos Gin Fizz cocktail at America Eats Tavern. What an exquisite brunch combination! The Hangtown Fry contains the perfect amount of oyster, and the experience will take you back in time as you celebrate America's culinary heritage.
2. The Assaggio di Primi at Acqua Al 2. This dish is a sampler of five vegetarian pastas, chosen by the chef. Share it with at least one other person, and you will still be full before your entree arrives. The variety is so much fun, and the selections are always amazing!
3. The PassionFish roll at PassionFish. It's their take on a rainbow sushi roll. The display is beautiful, and the taste is even better! Pick this roll, in addition to another roll or two, and share all the sushi with someone special.
4. The Ca Phe Sua Da (iced coffee, Vietnamese style) at Four Sisters. My favorite part of eating out at Vietnamese restaurants is ordering an iced coffee to finish off the meal. Four Sisters has the best ca phe sua da I've ever tasted! The coffee will brew and drip into a cup, right before your eyes, and then you can stir it with a little bit of condensed milk to add a lovely sweetness. Divine!
5. The grilled cheese sliders at Screwtop Wine Bar. It sounds like such a simple choice, but these cute heart-shaped sliders have a scrumptious blend of cheeses that will make you want to order more as soon as you're done! Additionally, the sliders come with a little bowl of tomato coulis, the perfect dip.
