Chef 5 Bites: Robert Ludlow

Robert Ludlow and his wife, Ashley, are the team behind Georgetown's new Fleurir Hand Grown Chocolates located at 3235 P St. NW. A Le Cordon Bleu graduate, Robert works day in and day out to produce his wildly creative artisanal chocolates. Robert and Ashley live in East Falls Church with their pups.

1. Anything from Miu Kee Cantonese Cuisine. Takeout Chinese food is my favorite, and theirs is fantastic. Also, it is one of the few places near our house that is open after 10 p.m.

2. Extra thick strawberry milkshake from Toby's Ice Cream. It takes so much effort to get the milkshake through the straw — I feel like I am getting a workout while eating it!

3. Margherita Extra (with extra buffalo mozzarella) at 2 Amys. The extra mozzarella makes it extra delicious.

4. Honey glaze doughnut at Heidelberg Pastry Shoppe. These go really fast so they are worth getting in line early for.

5. Half chicken, all white meat, with coleslaw and steak fries, extra sauce at El Pollo Rico. Hands down the best chicken around. It's very manly to rip apart a half, or sometimes whole, chicken with my hands and stuff my face.
