DC Flag Logo Love

Have you noticed how many local restaurants, bars and (all three!) new District breweries are embracing DC pride with their logo designs?

Our city flag's three stars and two bars lend themselves nicely to creative interpretations. The design, based on George Washington's family coat of arms, was even voted tops by the North American Vexillological Association. (Word of the day: vexillology is the scholarly study of flags.)

Does that mean someone might let us vote one day?
